GOLDNER, ANDY - S/T
[LP]    LABEL: VARIOUS
25.00EUR

Original Mint copies on WELL KNOWN RECORDS. Original first pressings of an obscure Kraut-LP for a reasonable price? Yep, here it is! The record was pressed 1978 in small quantities on the tiny Wellknown-label and, hardly promoted, it sank. Often described as Goldner’s first solo-LP, the Infinity band was much rather the logical continuatuion of Exmagma. Goldner and Thommy Balluff still build the backbone of the group and the Hendrix-influence is more obvious than ever, not only because of a “Stone Free”-version that will melt away your brain. This time the stunning result is just a little less experimental, but a lot more accessible than earlier Exmagma projects. Great cover art, by the way, and if the imagination of Hendrix jamming with Funkadelic brings a smile to your face, you need it anyway.
