Dead Man¢s Lullaby is the third single by 2 by bukowski for Inner Ear and completes their first recording cycle after their return in 2017 with Hot Summer.
The first version of the piece came to when Achilles Charmpilas played some traditional mounring songs from Epirus on the acoustic guitar to April Walz, a country music songwriter from California. April was impressed by the atmospheric nature of the tunes and wrote the lyrics to Dead Man¢s Lullaby the same day. The version captured on this single was arranged by 2 by bukowski, once again featuring Kid Moxie on the vocals. B-side Jam Four is a live recorded electronic jam, recorded in Athens and London with a few hours time difference.
The cover artwork is from a photo shoot at the Råkk & Rålls store in downtown Oslo, where the band found themselves while wandering the city after a concert.
