The cover of McChurch Soundroom's sole album gives virtually nothing away. So any history is impossible! All members of the band are from Basel , Switzerland – and Mr. Althaus ,still living there , now is a famous Jazz-musician –mainly sax and guitar! Starting deceptively in folk-rock realms, DELUSION moves around a lot, never sifting comfortably within any genre, and is largely instrumental, bridging psychedelic, hard-rock and fusion, being variably comparable to Gomorrha, Thirsty Moon and other such bands.
