AGINCOURT - Fly away
[LP]    LABEL: TRADING PLACES
21.00EUR

A UK underground psych-folk holy grail, originally released in a tiny private run in 1970, returns to vinyl. Agincourt featured Peter Howell and John Ferdinando, who also were responsible for collectable acid/psych-folk LP's by Ithaca and Friends, as well as the score to the low budget movie 'Tomorrow Come Someday' and the cult 'Alice Through The Looking Glass' theatre soundtrack. Agincourt's 'Fly Away' arguably is the best of their catalogue, partly due to the wonderful voice of female vocalist Lee Menelaus and the duo's incredible songwriting. In the '70s Peter Howell would become an influential member of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop.
