1969 saw the debut release by proto-punks The stooges. Fronted by the demented Iggy Pop, they made a noise like none before (or since). Utilizing the swagger and confidence of bands like the Rolling Stones together with the fuzz and urgency of bands like The Sonics, they created an album which, to this day, sounds raw and fresh. Tracks include "I Wanna Be Your Dog", "No Fun" and "1969". Official reissue in gatefold cover with bonus record expanded with alternate takes & mixes.
