Complete recordings from a remarkable girlgroup that relocated
form Detroit to LA, became proteges of Lee Hazlewood and
recorded the highly collectable album 'Psychedelic Folk
Essentials' in 1968. Indeed the style was psychedelic folk, but
enriched with Motown soul, '60s girlgroup harmonies à la
Ronettes and Shangri-Las and interesting social commentary. All
in all the briefly hyped four ladies guarantee a much worth
while listen. Remastered from the original tapes, the LP is pressed on 180-gram vinyl and packeged in a tip-on gatefold sleeve.
