Heavy psychedelic trio from Russia.
The band was founded by Timofey Goryashin and Konstantin Kotov, two students of the University of Culture and Arts. Before they melt in a common psychedelic impulse, the first one acted at St. Petersburg punk scene and another was active at the glam-rock stage. Gnawing out vast knowledge and inspirational ground from the culture granite, they decided to play rock together. The members say they are under influence of performers of various styles, who have both depth that would let feel their special perception of reality and something rooted in ancient rituals connecting worlds.
The name of the collective refers to the works by Charles Perrault and Maurice Ravel, the last one the most, as he created music, and that makes him related to the band members. In fact, their music serves the same purpose as their inspirers’ did – to take the listener away from reality. They succeed at this point thanks to acoustic effects and the atmosphere, inherent to psychedelic rock, immersing in trance. Sounds of music carry the mind to parallel worlds with tropical raining, shamanic spells against the aurora borealis, and suddenly appearing alien landscapes with giant phosphorescent mushrooms and wild colorful flora.
