After 12 years of continuous presence in the blues music stage and having released the albums “Our Trap”(2005), “Crossroad Ritual”(2006), “Red Snakes & Cave Bats”(2010) and “The Longest Road I know”(2013)the Small Blues Trap continue their musical journey with their new album “Time Tricks”.
In this new album, the band resorts to gambling and looks for the queen of hearts so as to get a “full house”. The band members tumble in their blues circus through some mischievous flirting with Rock¢n¢Roll and play midnight games of time which in the process become wishes that give meaning to the strangely red painted nights that unfold and reveal places where bold breathing becomes dreaming leading to the resurrection of revenge-thirsty legends.
Mixing their passion for the blues (which continues to remain their prime raw material of their compositions) with different elements from other musical genres, the Small Blues Trap still manage to create an extremely personal sound that characterizes them as it is not only unique but also identifiable.
