The Airboys band make a start at 1965, at the 115th Air Force Battle Wing (Souda) and they became the first modern beat-garage group of Crete (Greece). At 1967 they recorded their extremely rare 7'' single with the tracks " I feel alone/ Hathikes (You get lost)" and at 1970 the group disbanded. After that, the song "I feel alone" as a real garage dynamite, was included at the compilation Greek Beats Great" (Gyro Recordings 1003, Australia, 2007) as also it was mentioned by the compiler of the Garage compilation "Diggin' for gold Vol.4"(Smorgasbord Records EAT4001, Sweden,1995) among the greatest greek garage /beat bands of that era. At 2015 four of the Airboys' founding members will meet again and they decide to make a reunion in order to record their previously unrecorded 7 tracks from the 1966-1969 era and they make it possible at a 2016 recording session.
The December of 2018 B-otherSide records proudly presents a new vinyl release at 120 color and 150 black hand-numbered copies, which at the first side include all the 6 recordings from the 1966-1969 era plus 1 instrumental track from 2016 .The vinyl's b-side include 5 tracks which were all written between 1966-1969 and were recorded for first time ever at 2016 band's reunion. All the vinyl copies come along with a 6 page booklet with photos and group's bio at greek and english language. COLOURED
