Minor Mine is formed in Thessaloniki, Greece in 2007. Its sound is a mix of dark folk, post punk and psychedelic elements and the lyrics deal with human passions, disquiets and dreams. MM records its first song "Are you sure (that you are awake?)" in spring of 2008. Single "Where they go" first released in compilation of Sonik magazine "Support New MZK" in the end of 2009. "Where they go" (2010) is the debut album and is a self-release production, which is copied in 500 CDs. A collaboration between Radio Joy (members of Band of Holy Joy) and MM created "Beuys will be Beuys", an audiovisual poem, that it’s performed live in Thessaloniki, Greece (December 2011). Second album "Out of heaven" (2012) is also a self-release production and it’s copied in 300 CDs & 300 LPs. The video of “Out of Heaven” song has been produced by Minor Mine and friends and it’s the first official videoclip of the band. MM has opened shows for bands such as Wovenhand, Band of Holy Joy, Murder by Death, Savage Republic, The Ex, Peter Murphy and Tuxedomoon.
