Hard-hitting, bluesy biker-rock outfit led by legendary front man Nicky Moore (Tiger, Samson, Mammoth). Earliest recordings circa 1969-71 including the previously unreleased heavy psych classic ‘Warrior And The Mermaid’.
Hackensack was a killer live band and ‘Give It Some’ is the first new vinyl offering since their ‘Up The Hard Way’ LP in 1974. Many of these gritty tracks were recorded to help secure a deal with Island Records but only one single was issued.
500 individually numbered copies only pressed on heavy 180g vinyl, housed in gatefold sleeve with rare photos and flyers plus detailed history by Pete Sarfas.
